I am a student myself and I always find myself in situations where I have to find a makeshift desk to fill out papers. This individual used his skateboard as that medium. I wanted to put a spin on portraits on not take standard images of individuals, rather, I want to see these individuals within the realm of occupations and really see how consumed they are with their jobs. </p> <p>My idea was to take candid photos of three types of jobs and see the reaction of who they are, what they are doing and try to understand why they are doing this. Also, the focus of each image is on the object to which my subjects where consumed in. </p> <p>This first image is of a garbage truck driver who was doing his routine job of picking up the trash. Yet, his facial expression is great in that it shows his identity from his job.
